We need to work together to send a strong message and reach or surpass the goal of 250,000 comments. Below are some petitions. Please consider signing these, sending them to your friends, or if you are with an organization, using similar language to create your own petition and send to your email list:
Call President Obama on Wednesday, August 21st
President Obama’s climate action plan calls for the rapid expansion of domestic production of natural gas and oil through drilling and fracking. We need to let President Obama know that fracking will not solve the climate crisis.
Call President Obama at 1-888-660-2594 and tell him, “Fracking threatens the air we breathe, the water we drink, the communities we love and the climate on which we all depend. Don’t pursue policies that promote fracking and the export of natural gas. We need to ban fracking now!”
